Chromebook Tip SLAM

This week for cybersmart LS2 shared their chromebook tips and a slam is where a presenter have 1 minute to show the audience  their chromebook tip.

For my chromebook tip it was about how to group things together and to do that your press ctrl and click on all the things you need then do ctrl shift alt g then there you have it and that’s a slam. A tip that I liked was the split screen tip and to do that you press alt bracket and shift bracket

I found this activity fun because I learnt alot of differnt chromebook tips and these were very interesting to learn about.

Cybersmart Real Or Fake


For this cybersmart task with Mrs Grant, we learnt about arresting the effects of media manipulation. Simply put, this means to stop people from believing photoshoped and fake images online.

To do this, we can image search the photo to see if its photoshopped or find out if the information connected to that image is true by searching other sites where that image has been used. We can also check if the image has been labeled as media manipulation where the creator tells others that the photo has been retouched.

I enjoyed this task because I learnt about how to recognize manipulated media and the methods I can use to find the truth related to that image.

Fact Checking

LI: to fact check our information, and understand what to do if an adult believes false information.

This week for this cybersmart lesson we have been learning to always check information if it’s true or not. For this activity my partner and I were taking a look at this articale about how the spanish flu vaccine has killed millions of people, to check if this articale was true or not we used our reasearching skills and took a look on weebsites. On the website it said that it was the most severe pandimic in recent history. 

I enjoyed this task alot because I learnt alot from this it also taught me if I want to check information if it’s true or not then search it up and look at websites that can tell you alot of information.
